Why Choose Online Therapy in San Diego?

I help individuals discover their best hopes despite problems in their life using a Solution Focused Brief Therapy approach. In our online therapy sessions, we will focus on the solutions not the just rehashing all the problems which I know you are all too familiar. I know you are seeking therapy to feel better, so let's get you there as quickly as possible! I use solution focused brief therapy questions to learn more about you, the goals for therapy, dreams, and your "best hopes." In turn answering these questions, gives you a chance to reflect, discover, and recognize your own strengths. You may even begin to remember coping skills used in the past or even ones you've considered but have been too scared to try.

By using a Solution Focused Therapy approach, I hope to ask just the right question as we work collaboratively to find coping strategies so you will leave therapy thinking, “I got this!” or “I have done this before and got through it; and I will get through it again.” These questions are very helpful as I learn about that future version of yourself that seems impossible or, perhaps it's been so long since you felt that way; you forgot how to be that person again. I want to help you get to that brighter more manageable tomorrow, that version of you that is pleasing despite all those problems which seem to get in the way. In using this solution focused therapy style, I provide encouragement and the motivation that you are capable of achieving what you truly want in life and discover a new joy and hope for a better tomorrow! I am honored to go on that journey with you and curious what difference talking to me will make in your life.
